Prof. Hakeem Abimbola Olaniyan, superintends over the activities of the firm. He is also a Professor of Law in the Department of International Law and Jurisprudence, University of Lagos, Akoka with over 30 years experience with distinguished law firms, he has a passion for completeness and perfection, which makes him the perfect professional, he has been engaged in many domestic and International financing related transactions. His commitment to exceeding Clients’ expectations, and the assurance of success in any transaction with which he is identified places him above the ordinary lawyer.
Partners
Akinyemi is a chartered Arbitrator, chartered secretary, and certified Islamic finance professional. He has more than 15 years experience advising a wide range of Clients on a broad spectrum of subjects including corporate and commercial aspects of the law, property transactions legal documentation and perfection, professional ethics and conduct, Medical and Health aspects of the law. He had been a prosecutor at the Medical and Dental Practitioner’s Disciplinary Tribunal, and handled a wide range of medico-legal issues for clients. He graduated from the University of Lagos in 2006 and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2007. He is a member of the World Association of medical lawyers (WAML), Chartered Institute of Arbitration, and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Nigeria. Since joining the firm he has been involved in active litigation at all levels of court as a trained mediator he has also been involved in the pre and post litigation settlement of disputes to the satisfaction of the parties.
Mutiat is a legal Practitioner with expertise in Family Law, Employment and Labour Law as well as general law practice. She is particularly adept in drafting complex legal agreements and consulting for non-profits, private and Government institutions on policy development. She Studied Law at Lagos State University (LASU), and trained at Nigerian Law School Victoria Island Lagos. After which she was called to bar in 2006. She has a Diploma in Business Administration (Human Resources) from the Academic College London in 2009. And Bagged an LLM (Masters in Law) at Kingston University, London, UK in 2012. She worked as Part-time Presenter at NTA2 Lagos Network Centre Victoria island Lagos; for about 8years. And was a counsel at the firm of Gani Adetola-Kaseem(SAN) & Co. A leading law firm in Lagos Now a Partner at the firm, she also runs the Hijab Rights Advocay initiative which advocates Human and Civil Rights of females to practice their faith in Nigeria.
Associates
Ruqayat is an Associate of the firm. She is a focused, result-driven Lawyer and an experienced researcher. Upon being called to the Nigerian bar, she joined the firm, where she developed a strong passion for legal research. Since joining the firm, she has actively practised as an astute litigator in specialised areas such as Labour, employment and industrial relations, land and Small claim cases. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Abdullahi is a graduate of University of Ilorin where he obtained his LLB degree in Common and Islamic Law. He is a multi-talented lawyer who provides the firm’s clients with creative and innovative solutions to their legal and business needs. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), a member of the International Bar Association, International Law Association and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
